This means having a plan from the outset to make conscious decisions regarding energy conservation and lowering the impact that your project has on the planet. Does this mean lowering your standards of living or not enjoying a luxury home? Absolutely not. What is does mean is being aware and putting your resources into what matters most. It means working on the challenge of sustainability from both the supply and demand side. Making smart choices when it comes to design, materials, and execution, along with an onsite plan for cutting waste and recycling 100% of what can be.
